Collective Vinyasa

An accessible vinyasa flow open to beginners and seasoned yogis. Modifications and deeper offerings will be presented so that you can make the practice most successful for yourself! Threads of different styles- restorative, bikram, ashtanga, meditation and more- may be woven into the sequence. No two classes will ever be alike.


Power Hour

It’s all in the name! Not suitable for first timers, this heated flow gives you the opportunity to turn doubt into security and stress into sweat.  Do I need to be able to crow, split or handstand for this class? NO! However, practitioners should have a secure sense of their personal yoga practice. One should know when its time to rest without being cued by the teacher and when it’s appropriate to go for it and try it out!


Foundations

Never been to yoga? Haven’t been in a while? Looking to refresh the basic foundations of vinyasa yoga? In this class, you will learn how to silence your mind and still your body. Emphasis on cultivating a yoga breath, Ujjayi breathing, will be a very common cue. Heighten your self-awareness by absorbing alignment cues. Shift your expectations into appreciation. 


Deep Stretch 

In this class, you will have ample time to elongate the muscles, joints, fascia, and connective tissues of the body. With a yin like tone, this class will allow you to draw your attention inward, creating space and ease where you once felt stuck. With a consistent stretching practice, your hips and spine will especially begin to unlock, increasing your range of motion, alignment, posture, and overall health


Supported Alignment

This Iyengar inspired class will aid in targeting and releasing congestion out of the body. Iyengar yoga is characterized by great attention to detail and precise focus on body alignment, while supporting yourself with props such as, backless yoga chairs, blankets, bolsters, straps and blocks, to aid in allowing beginners to experience the pose more fully. Therefore, with less muscular effort, the student will be able to focus your awareness on your pranayama (breathing) practice.

Unlike more experiential approaches where students are encouraged to independently "find their way" to the asanas, an Iyengar Yoga class is highly verbal and precise, with misalignments and errors actively corrected. The discipline is considered by its practitioners to be a powerful tool to relieve the stresses of modern-day life, in turn helping to promote total physical and spiritual well-being.
